ALBANY, N.Y. --- Union College jumped three places and now sits third in this week’s USCHO.Com division I men’s ice hockey poll.  The Dutchmen (15-4-3, 9-2-0), who trail fourth ranked Quinnipiac by just one point in the ECAC Hockey standings, completed a weekend non-conference sweep with back-to-back 3-1 wins against New Hampshire.

The Bobcats (18-4-5, 8-2-3,), who lead the 12 school conference with 19 points, won one and dropped one to Merrimack.  Quinnipiac won the opener Friday, 6-1, before falling 6-3 Saturday.

The reigning national champions Yale dropped two spots this week and sits 10th.  The Bulldogs (9-4-4, 5-3-3) lost to 13th ranked Clarkson (15-7-2, 8-2-0), 3-2, before upending St. Lawrence (8-12-2, 2-6-2) the next night, 4-2.

Finally, Cornell (9-4-4, 4-3-3) continues to find itself in the same place it’s been the last five weeks, at number-12.  The Big Red, who are fifth in ECAC Hockey with 13 points, topped Harvard (5-10-3, 2-8-3) 3-2, Friday, before skating to a one-all draw against Dartmouth (3-13-3, 2-9-1) the next night.
