The New York Lottery today announced that one third prize winning Power Play ticket worth $200,000 and two third prize tickets worth $50,000 for the January 28, 2023 Powerball® drawing were purchased in New York. The winning tickets each have four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

The Power Play prize-winning ticket was purchased at the Uptown Service Station Corp. on First Avenue in Manhattan. The third prize tickets worth $50,000 were sold at Lex & 103 Inc. on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan and Sanat Cards and Gifts on 73rd Avenue in Oakland Gardens. 

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on January 23 are: 2-18-23-27-47 and the Powerball is 15. Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app.

The Power Play multiplier for Saturday's drawing is 4, which means the third place prize – not including the jackpot – was quadrupled to $200,000.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

The jackpot for the drawing to be held Wednesday night is an estimated $613 milion.
