What: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's (DEC) Climate Justice Working Group (CJWG) will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. The CJWG establishes criteria for identifying disadvantaged communities (DACs) for the purposes of co-pollutant reductions, greenhouse gas emissions reductions, regulatory impact statements, and the allocation of investments pursuant to the Climate Act. 

This will be a non-voting, non-deliberative, virtual meeting, and will include an update on the Community Air Monitoring Initiative. Members of the public are welcome to listen to the meeting via webcast. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and can be done by clicking the WebEx link below.
