Lake Placid, N.Y. (February 26, 2013)--- There’s still more bobsled and skeleton racing action at the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Olympic Sports Complex track, in Lake Placid, N.Y. Next week, March 3-10, the sport’s aspiring young pilots, sliders and athletes will try to tackle the track’s 20-curve course, while racing in the North American Cup bobsled and skeleton event. Below is the event’s training and racing schedule. ORDA operates Whiteface, Belleayre and Gore Mountain ski areas; the Olympic Sports Complex at Mt. Van Hoevenberg; the Olympic speed skating oval, Olympic jumping complex and Olympic arena. As host to international and national championships, the Authority has brought millions of athletes, spectator and participants to the region, resulting in significant economic development. |
