LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (January 13, 2017) – The nation’s top cross country skiers are getting ready to gather in Lake Placid, N.Y. to compete in the 2017 Cross Country Junior National Championships, March 5-11, 2017, in Lake Placid, N.Y. The prestigious event will be held on the Mt. Van Hoevenberg’s Nordic center’s world-class trails, recognized world-wide for playing host to the 1980 Olympic Winter Games’ Nordic events. Attached to this advisory is the event’s media credential request form, to be returned by January 6, 2017 for consideration WHAT: 2017 Cross Country Junior National Championships WHEN: March 5-11, 207 WHERE: Mt. Van Hoevenberg Nordic center, Lake Placid, N.Y. Media covering the event must return the attached media credential request form no later than Friday, February 24, 2017 for consideration.
