Statement from MTA Chief, External Relations John J. McCarthy on Preliminary Design Process for Penn Station Reconstruction
“We have commenced preliminary design and are thrilled to have FXCollaborative, WSP, and the award-winning John McAslan + Partners on board to develop the Penn Station Master Plan concepts into more detailed architectural design and engineering. This team will be analyzing and exploring alternatives to inform that design. The end result will be a detailed design that gives Penn Station riders the station they deserve and sets us up for a competitive construction procurement process.”
