ALBANY, N.Y. --ECAC Hockey today announced that it will officially begin the 2013-14 season by conducting its annual Men’s

Media Day Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. in the Conference Center at Lake Placid which is attached to the 1980 Rink - Herb

Brooks Arena.

For the first time the league will stream the event live on www.ecachockey.com providing the unique opportunity for fans to get

the preseason outlook on the upcoming campaign. Media members not present will have the capability to ask questions through a

private chat line set-up prior to the event or to use during the event. Details of the chat line will be released over the next week.

Media members may park in front of the Conference Center at Lake Placid or in the municipal lot adjacent to the venue for a fee.

Parking is also available in the USA Lot, behind the Convention Center by the athlete entrance facing the Lake Placid High School.

Media Day will feature coaches from all 12 of the league’s men’s programs, who will be available to discuss the upcoming season,

a special welcome from ECAC Hockey Commissioner Steve Hagwell and the release of the Preseason Coaches’ and Media’s Polls,

along with the Preseason All-Conference selections.
