LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (November 14, 2016) --- The excitement of bobsled and skeleton World Cup racing returns to the famed Mt. Van Hoevenberg combined bobsled/luge/skeleton track the week of December 12-17, 2016. The event comes as the world’s best bobsled and skeleton athletes eye the 2108 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea, just a more than a year away. Attached to this advisory is the event’s media credential request form, to be returned by December 5, 2016 for consideration WHAT: BMW IBSF World Cup Bobsled/Skeleton Lake Placid 2016 WHEN: Racing Friday, Dec. 16, 8:45 a.m. with two-man bobsled racing. This is followed by the women’s bobsled event, at 12:30 p.m., and men’s skeleton action at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, begins at 9:30 a.m. with the four-man bobsled race, while the women’s skeleton event is slated to start at 1:30 p.m. WHERE: Mt.
