The New York Lottery today announced two top prize winning tickets for the August 7 and August 8 TAKE 5 drawings were sold at two different locations in Yonkers. The winning ticket for the August 7 drawing is worth $73,221, and the winning ticket for the August 8 drawing is worth $66,456.50.

 The winning tickets were sold at:

• Sunoco, 931 McLean Avenue, Yonkers – August 7 drawing
• Basel Tobacco and Candy Corp., 1045 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers – August 8 drawing

In addition to the $73,221 top prize for the August 7 TAKE 5 drawing, which was won by matching five out of five numbers, 209 players each purchased winning tickets worth $525.50 by matching four out of five numbers for the drawing. For the August 8 TAKE 5 drawing, 339 players each purchased winning tickets worth $294 by matching four out of five numbers. In total, there were 201,861TAKE 5 winners for the August 7 and 8 drawings.

The winning numbers for the August 7 TAKE 5 drawing were 09-24-25-31-33. The winning numbers for the August 8 TAKE 5 drawing were 02-07-08-19-22.

The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket, to check their tickets again, as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.
