Public Comment Period for Clermont State Historic Site Draft Scoping Document

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is developing a Draft Master Plan/Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for Clermont State Historic Site. As part of this process, OPRHP is developing a Scoping Document, which provides information to the public on the elements to be included in the DEIS. The goal of the Scoping Document is to identify topics and concerns of interest for potential inclusion in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement.

Comments received during the public comment period will be considered during preparation of the Final Scoping Document, and the Final EIS will address all items identified in the Final Scoping Document.

OPRHP encourages the public to review the Draft Scoping Document and provide comments and feedback. An online version of the draft Scoping Document is available at the following publicly accessible website: https://parks.ny.gov/inside-our-agency/master-plans.aspx.

Non-digital copies of the documents can be obtained by emailing Clermont.Plan@parks.ny.gov.

Comments on the Draft Scoping Document can be emailed to Clermont.Plan@parks.ny.gov, with your name, title, and organization (if applicable), no later than close of business on September 3, 2022.

Written comments may be emailed to Clermont.Plan@parks.ny.gov or mailed to the contact shown below, postmarked by September 3, 2022.
