The New York Lottery today announced a winning second prize ticket for the August 8 Lotto drawing was sold at Stewart’s Shop’s at 301 Park Avenue in Mechanicville. The ticket is worth $57,206.

In addition to the $57,206 prize for the Lotto drawing, which was won by matching five out of six numbers plus the bonus number, there were a total of 21,907 Lotto winners across all prize levels other than the top prize.

The winning numbers for the August 8 Lotto drawing were 06-21-27-41-43-56, Bonus Number 42.

It has been more than eight months since someone has hit the Lotto jackpot prize. With no top prize winner for Saturday night’s drawing, the jackpot for the next drawing on Wednesday, August 12 is now $33 million. This is the largest Lotto jackpot since May 16, 2009’s $41 million jackpot.

The winners may claim the tickets at any one of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Schenectady office at One Broadway Center, Schenectady, NY 12305 or at Saratoga Casino & Raceway, 342 Jefferson Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
