Metro-North Train Service Will Not Be Impacted

Cleveland Street Grade Crossing Will Close to Vehicular Traffic From 9 p.m., Friday, June 24, Until 5 a.m., Monday, June 27

MTA Metro-North Railroad today announced that to accommodate track work, the Cleveland Street railroad crossing in Valhalla will close to vehicular traffic at approximately 9 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, June 24, and is expected to reopen at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 27. There will be no impact to train service.

A posted detour will direct drivers to Legion Drive, one block north of Cleveland Street. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and to pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.

The New York State Department of Transportation will put out electronic signs along the parkway to inform drivers about the closure, and MTA Police will be stationed at both sides of the crossing.
