Statewide Interoperable & Emergency Communications Board - Notice of Public Meetings for 2015

Board will hold meetings on March 4, 2015; May 21, 2015; August 26, 2015; and November 18, 2015

Pursuant to Public Officers Law Section 104, the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services’ -- Office of Interoperable and Emergency Communications gives notice of the schedule of meetings of the Statewide Interoperable and Emergency Communications (SIEC) Board for 2015. 

Meetings will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., and Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., all to be in Albany, New York.  

The SIEC Board was established under Article 26 and 6A of the Executive and County law, respectively, to review policies and programs intended to improve interoperable and emergency communications for first responders throughout the State and make recommendations to the Commissioner of the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. The Board meets quarterly; this is the full meeting schedule for 2015.

In accordance with Executive Order #3, the Statewide Interoperable and Emergency Communications (SIEC) Board Meeting will be open to the public. A recording of the meeting will be made available two (2) business days following the meeting and can be located on the Internet at http://www.dhses.ny.gov/media/. The recorded meeting will be available on the web site for 30 days following the meeting.
