The gate to the Parking lot and Boardwalk at the Black Pond Wildlife Management Area will be closed effective immediately due to unsafe conditions of the Boardwalk.  The area is located in along Lake Ontario, in the Town of Ellisburg, Jefferson County.  It is expected that repairs will be made next week, at such time the gate will be opened, and the boardwalk will again be available for public use.
