A new “Repose of the Fallen” Memorial, funded by the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, is being dedicated to hold the skeletal remains of 44 fallen patriots discovered during a 2019 construction project in Lake George village WHEN: Friday, May 22, 2026 @ 11:00 a.m. WHERE: Repose of the Fallen Memorial *See event and parking map. Fort George Road will be closed beginning at 9am, until about 2pm.
