The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) today announced the reopening of the Severne Point Boat Launch Access Site on Seneca Lake in the town of Himrod, Yates County. 

The Severne Point Boat Launch Access Site was temporarily closed in early June due to dangerous storm water levels and adverse launch conditions.
