DEC TO HOST INCLUSIVE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY LEARN-TO-FISH EVENT AT COBBS HILL PARK

Free Fishing for All Ages and Abilities April 16

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and the City of Rochester’s Department of Recreation and Human Services are holding an inclusive, family-friendly fishing event on April 16 at Cobbs Hill Park in Rochester, Monroe County. People of all ages, abilities, and experiences are welcome to attend and adaptive equipment will be available for use.

DEC fisheries biologists and Environmental Conservation Police Officers (ECOs) will be assisting first-time anglers and others who may need assistance.

Where:            Cobbs Hill Park – Lake Riley Lodge, 80 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14620

When:             April 16, 2023, from 1 to 4 p.m.
