Nine Third Prize Winning Powerball Tickets Sold in New York

Jackpot for Wednesday Drawing Rises to $1.2 Billion


The New York Lottery today announced that nine third prize winning tickets each worth $50,000 for the October 31, 2022 Powerball® drawing were purchased in New York. The winning tickets have four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

The prize-winning tickets were purchased at these locations:

  • Stewart's Shop on North Ann Street in Little Falls; 
  • Smokes For Less in Newburgh sold 2 winning tickets;
  • Universal Candy & Grocery on Westchester Avenue in the Bronx;
  • International News and Tobacco on Broadway in Manhattan
  • Fresh Pond News Stand on Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood;
  • New Fu Xing on 5th Avenue in Brooklyn;
  • GAASH Inc. on 3rd Avenue in Manhattan;
  • J&M Food Corp. on Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood;

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on October 31 are: 13-19-36-39-59 and the Powerball is 13. Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

The jackpot for the drawing to be held Wednesday is $1.2 Billion. Since the start of the current jackpot roll up on August 6th, New York sales have been $129.53 million or 7.88% of the $1.64 billion across all participating Powerball jurisdictions leading up to Wednesday’s Powerball drawing. Aid to education from New York’s ticket sales during the same time period totals more than $45.33 million.
